Greetings, Macedonia Church Family and Friends!
It gives me great pleasure to address this body of baptized believers in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus, the Christ! The year will be a year like no other, because of the new and never before challenges in the way we worship. But with the grace of God, I encourage you to put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the enemy of righteousness.
In this new year, we must work while it is day and not get weary in well-doing. We must run this Christian race always looking to Christ as the author and finisher of our faith. Christ has given us a syllabus for stewardship and our goal must be to hear him say, "Well done thy good and faithful servant!".
Saints of God, do not be discouraged about this life we live. We must understand that life is fickle, fragile, fleeting, and sometimes, frustrating. Our commandment is to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not to our own understanding, and in all our ways acknowledge Him and He will direct our path. This is a new year, but we serve the same God who never changes. God declares He is the same today, yesterday, and forever. So let us be like the people who were with the servant Nehemiah, whom the Bible declared, had a mind to work; not that we should exclusively work at the church of Macedonia, but for the overall Church of God at large.
The Bible also declares that the harvest is plenteous, but the laborers are few. Jesus is soon to come. Therefore, do not let Him catch you with your work undone. Additionally, always, remember Christ's commandment; that ye love one another (John 13:34 KJV).
May God continue to bless and keep you always...
In the Service of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ,
Pastor Charles Dent
